Ala na, now trying to scrape together a career as a drug runner, has this fascinating push and pull between being more hardened in some ways in her isolation, and softened in others, as she still yearns to find a way to find peace, away from the ever present conflict between Wreath and Landfall, and simply be a mother to now not just Hazel, but the similarly-orphaned son of Prince Robot IV, Squire.
