A new salad-and-wrap destination will open in League City by mid-April as Salad and Go expands its Houston market.

All Salad and Go salads and wraps are $6.42.

The concept of the restaurant began in 2013 when patrons at a high-end Arizona restaurant wanted a fast-casual, convenient option to get Caesar salads. Ingredients including avocados, tomatoes, celery, cabbage, carrots, cucumber, pickled onions, eggs, three main types of lettuce and spinach are shipped from farms to the chain's processing facilities where they are washed, chopped and bagged and shipped to restaurant locations, all within one day, she said.
