"I always thought this would be here, has been one of my favorites, the architecture, the fountains, how it used to look with the flags," said Chip Leick, a native of San Antonio who visited the center on its final day."The World's Fair. I was here at the opening day, April 6 1968," Lieck said, "My mom worked here. And I came every day in the summer took the bus down with a buddy of mine named, Danny Strauss.

"The ITC will be moving to a new temporary location in the Frost Tower...we're gonna have to get really creative with how we present information, how we engage with audiences," Perales said. "It's an opportunity for us to engage with new audiences, tell new stories, and find new ways of connecting and making memories across generations," Perales said.
