School leaders at Lamar Elementary sent a letter to families, saying San Antonio ISD and Garden City Church no longer have a formal agreement.

There were concerns Pastor Carl Young wanted the school to depend on his church after renting space there.

While the original deal is gone, the school said it plans to work on a solution that"does not involve a campus-based site." Administrators will discuss this next Tuesday.
