The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. at the Luxury Inn located at 1404 Culebra Road near Woodlawn Lake. Two hours later, police received another call from the same location about a man"arguing and waving a gun around," McManus said. When police arrived, they were told the man had returned to his room. After one of the officers knocked on the door, the first thing that came out of the door was a gun, prompting both officers to fire their weapons, McManus said. The man was shot multiple times in the torso and was transported to the hospital. SAPD has not provided an update on his condition.
