San Antonio Symphony cancels remainder of 2021-22 season because of ongoing labor dispute
The Musicians of the San Antonio Symphony held a sit-in during a San Antonio City Council meeting in March. The musicians have been on strike since September. The musicians, the board and symphony management have met three times with a federal mediator since Feb. 14. The notice from the symphony cited the letter as the reason for the cancellation of the rest of the season. It also said that the board and the mediators are open to continuing negotiations.
