SAN DIEGO – An 18-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Mira Mesa Wednesday morning, San Diego Police said.
An SDPD official told ABC 10News that a death was reported following a shooting in the 10900 block of Deering Street at around 9:30 a.m. Officers responding to the scene found the 18-year-old Hispanic man down in the street in front of his home, a press release stated. SDPD said he had at least one gunshot wound. Officers gave the man medical assistance until paramedics came to the scene and took over. The man was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene, the release said.Homicide detectives from SDPD were called to the scene to investigate.
