The world premiere play by San Diego-raised playwright Ali Viterbi was to be the centerpiece of the Rep's ongoing Jewish arts festival
San Diego Repertory Theatre has canceled its much-anticipated world premiere production of Ali Viterbi’s “In Every Generation,” citing “financial and personnel” reasons.

We are working to ensure that our cast, crew, staff and broader community are taken care of, and we have decided that canceling the production is the first step in this process,” the statement read.
