The heat wave ends tonight, with a 10-20 degree drop on Saturday.
Coast and inland communities will drop about 20 degrees on Saturday, but the desert heat will peak Saturday before cooling begins.
The sea-breeze returns tonight and it will usher in the marine layer Saturday morning, areas of dense fog along the coast can't be ruled out. Clouds will spread farther inland each night and morning into early next week. A pacific storm will dive south with much cooler weather, temperatures will go to the other extreme dropping close to 10 degrees below normal. We could also have a chance for rain Monday night into Tuesday and gusty westerly winds. The winds will begin this weekend, a wind advisory could potentially be issued.
