San Francisco's guaranteed income program for transgender residents prioritizes black and"Latinx" people, new documents reveal.
"The program will prioritize enrollment and retention of [black, indigenous people of color] trans and nonbinary people who also engage in survival sex trades, living with disabilities, elders, living with HIV/AIDS, undocumented, monolingual Spanish speakers, formerly incarcerated, and unhoused and marginally housed," a March 2022 document states, going on to set numerical quotas.
The same document also states that Lyon-Martin Health Services"will provide wrap-around peer-led services" such as cross-sex medical procedures, gynecological and sexual healthcare, and mental health services.
