It’s the second major seafood restaurant loss for the Blossom Hill area in two years
South San Jose fans of Red Lobster’s seafood and cheddar biscuits will have to travel a little farther to get their fix.
After a review of locations, “We made the incredibly difficult decision to close our restaurant at Almaden Plaza,” a Red Lobster statement issued Tuesday said. “Management teams and team members were given the chance to relocate to other Red Lobster restaurants whenever possible.” Red Lobster operates eight other Bay Area restaurants, including another one in San Jose and one in Milpitas .
