A man stabbed to death Tuesday afternoon in a Carl’s Jr. parking lot in East San Jose, marking the city’s first homicide of the year, has been identified by authorities.
The man was 31-year-old Dominic Vincent Ortega, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.
Officers and paramedics performed live-saving measures until he was taken to a hospital, where he later died, according to authorities. More information, including details on potential suspects or a motive, was not released. The incident is still under investigation.
