Spanish-Peruvian Suspiro coming in February, followed by Indian grill Fitoor

Diners can expect Suspiro to offer variations on paella, like this Paella Vegetariana, when the restaurant opens later this month. that these concepts — one Indian, one Peruvian-Spanish — would make their debut in early 2024, along with a number of new retail shops.Valentine’s Day: 3 new Bay Area chocolate shops

Opening first will be Suspiro, with a planned date of Feb. 19. This Latin fusion concept comes from the owners of the highly successful El Jardin and Zazil nearby. Chef Oscar Santos-Pelegrin, a Barcelona native, will present an inaugural menu that highlights fresh seafood and grilled meats for brunch, lunch and dinner. Suspiro is being built at The Plaza next to Barry’s Bootcamp.

Look for Fitoor to open in the weeks after that. This Indian grill and lounge is taking over the space that. The concept comes from the team behind the Rooh restaurants, Anu and Vikram Bhambri.
