ICYMI: Saskatoon man coerced woman into sex work and stole her money, court hears

Court heard that Brayden Vincent Reimer put the woman’s photos up on a website advertising escort services — initially without her consent — and controlled her dates and the money she made from them.

Reimer, 25, pleaded guilty to receiving a material benefit from sexual services, advertising sexual services, theft and breaching his release order. She told police Reimer gave her drugs before her dates and specifically put MDMA in her water. A water bottle found in her car tested positive for the drug, Dunning said when reading the facts.Article content

She told court when the woman asked for half of what she had made, Reimer wrote “U obviously don’t get how much I’m taking care of you, don’t worry about the money,” promising that he was just holding it for the time being and would e-transfer her portion. She told Reimer she felt disgusted and used.

His co-accused, Stephen Simon Kola, was also charged with human trafficking offences, but his charges were stayed, the court confirmed.
