Between Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties, there are more than 52,000 FirstEnergy customers still without power as of 4 p.m. Saturday. FirstEnergy Corp. previously said many people would be without electricity for nearly a week.
So when will power be restored? FirstEnergy is currently estimating that power will be fully restored by 4 p.m. Wednesday for customers in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and parts of Lorain counties. Some cities in Lorain County should expect power to be restored by 2 p.m. Sunday, FirstEnergy estimates.
Medina County customers should see the power come back on around 11 p.m. Monday. The same goes for Portage County and Summit County customers.The National Weather Service in Cleveland says Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 73 degrees. Sunday night will be mostly clear with a low of 57 degrees.
Monday will keep that momentum going with sunny skies and a high near 75 degrees. The low will be 58 degrees. The Cleveland Railway operated the streetcars, which began running in 1910. The Cleveland Transit System took over from the Cleveland Railway system in 1942 and only 12 years later the streetcars shut down.
