Looking back at Saturday's college football action, far too many SEC teams didn't play up to the standard we've all come to expect.

Don’t confuse this with trying to predict the end of the Alabama dynasty. Through my eyes, that was a slugfest between two teams that at the end of the season will be among the top 10 in the country. Besides, with my apologies to the late Jim Croce, you don’t tug on Superman’s cape, cut Dale Earnhardt Sr. off in traffic or count out Nick Saban.
Missouri only beats Middle Tennessee State 23-19? Eliah Drinkwitz is starting year four with the Tigers and has yet to have a winning season. Barry Odum at least had two winning seasons. Kentucky, baby. What are we doing with this 28-17 foolishness against Eastern Kentucky? Please don’t give me any of that in-state rival nonsense either. Take care of business.
