The South Korean band’s “Butter” traded places with “Permission to Dance,” and now, “Butter” rules again. In fact, the top two slots see absolutely no movement, as Seventeen’s “Rock With You” is also steady in the runner-up rung, where it debuted last frame.
Three songs launch inside the top 10 on the Hot Trending Songs chart, with musicians from three different countries in Asia debuting brand new singles inside the highest tier on the new ranking. Up to a new high of No. 3 is “Spaceman” by Thai performer Mew Suppasit. Last week, that cut opened at No. 7. The singer leaps over two of Lisa’s singles, with “Lalisa” switching spots with “Money,” as the former lifts to No. 4 while the latter declines to No. 5.
The highest-ranking debut this week’s Hot Trending Songs chart comes from Dimash Kudaibergen, whose new single “Fly Away” manages to arrive as the sixth-most-discussed track on Twitter. The Kazakh musician is new to the list, but clearly he has a large enough fan base all around the world to rack up enough tweets to appear on this roster.
