Every child is different, and every child learns differently and can benefit from the ability to choose an education environment that suits individual styles of learning.
This week, Jan. 22 through 28, is National School Choice Week. As a parent of two students enrolled at, a unique, tuition-free Pennsylvania online charter school, I understand the value of school choice.
From traditional public schools to public charter and magnet schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling, there are many options available to families to choose an education that works for their students. For my family, Reach Cyber Charter School was the best choice for our family originally because of the pandemic and its flexibility.
My children are in 2nd and 8th grades at Reach Cyber Charter School and are able to learn at their own pace. The flexibility of their education and being able to do their coursework on their own schedule has allowed my children to complete their school work and explore many other opportunities that life has to offer.
