Scream actress Jasmin Savoy Brown hints her character Mindy Meeks-Martin might not survive in Scream6. 'What if only one of us survives? 😳'
Scream star Jasmin Savoy Brown has hinted on social media that her character may not survive the sequel. Scream is the fifth iteration of the long-running Scream franchise. As well as being billed as a reboot of the franchise, the movie also acts as a direct sequel to 2011's Scream 4.
The sequel saw the return of original cast members Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette, as well as the addition of new cast members, including Brown. Brown played the character of Mindy, who is a friend of Tara Carpenter and niece to Randy Meeks from Scream and Scream 2. Mindy's twin brother Chad Meeks-Martin is thought to have been killed during the movie but is later shown alive when he is rushed to the hospital with his sister.
While a sequel to Scream is happening, with filming due to begin in the summer, it is not 100% clear whether the Meeks twins will appear. However, being that they were both among the handful of survivors does suggest a high likelihood that they will appear in any upcoming movies. Of course, it will depend on the actors' schedules, but the post by Brown seems to suggest she is open to the idea of returning.
