Shareholders will hold a vote to increase supply chain transparency at its annual meeting next year.
The Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday blocked Apple’s request to not hold a vote at its annual meeting on a shareholder proposal to require the tech giant to provide increased transparency pertaining to its supply chain in an effort to protect workers from forced labor.
