WASHINGTON—The Senate approved legislation aimed at nullifying President Biden’sfor private employers, marking a significant rebuke even if lawmakers ultimately fall short of stopping the new Covid-19 rule.
The measure passed 52-48, with Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Jon Tester of Montana joining all Republicans in supporting the bill.
