“The seniors who are freezing do not care about your politics. The seniors are struggling with their bills this winter,” Wilson told the assembly after Morgan asked provincial New Democrats to talk to federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh about the federal carbon tax. During question period, NDP energy critic Aleana Young asked the province to stop collecting gas taxes so people could see some relief at the pump.
