Colin Lester plays QB for Ramona High football team, but he does so much more than that as the Bulldogs head into the San Diego Section Division II title game
Over the summer, Lester won a three-way quarterback competition with Azlan Enriquez and Dillon Day.
Asked how many plays out of 100 they would be on the field, teammates and good friends Lester, Jonny Cohen and Josh King nodded in unison, quickly answering “98.” The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Lester has completed 49 of 99 passes for 730 yards with eight TDs and only one interception as a read-option QB. He has 97 carries for 415 yards and 12 TDs. And he has a pass reception.On defense, Lester has 15 tackles, three tackles for a loss and a sack.
