A car and a SEPTA trolley were involved in an accident in West Philadelphia.
The accident happened Thursday night at the intersection of North 59th Street and Lansdowne Avenue around 8:30.Trolley passengers were able to evacuate safely.
The driver of the trolley was wounded in the leg, according to officials, but there were no details regarding the trolley driver’s condition.Shuttle buses were called in to assist in the absence of the trolley service from 63rd and Malvern to the 36th Street portal.
