At 5 a.m. Oct. 3, a Richfield man, 62, and a Shaker Heights woman, 63, reported that someone had damaged the window of their Chevrolet car that had been parked on Regional Transit Authority property, in the 1900 block of Van Aken Boulevard.

The man failed field sobriety testing and was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was then transported to a local hospital, where he refused to provide a breath sample.At 10:45 p.m. Sept. 30, a Chevrolet vehicle was seen traveling through a red light at the intersection of Chagrin Boulevard and Lee Road.

A traffic stop was conducted and officers smelled alcohol on the person of the driver, a Cleveland man, 45. The man showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety testing.Domestic violence: Van Aken Boulevard At 8:35 a.m. Oct. 3, a Chevrolet car was seen traveling well above the speed limit and driving through stop signs in the area of Ingleside Road and Scottsdale Boulevard.

Officers encountered the man, 21, of Richmond Heights, and smelled on his person the odor of alcohol. Under his shirt, police saw the outline of a firearm.
