Isolated storms are possible Thursday night into Friday morning in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. By Friday afternoon, severe storms are possible as a cold front moves through the region, along with heavy rain that could cause flooding in some areas. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes are all possible.
The weather service said the storms will pass to the east by Friday evening, leaving behind temperatures in the 50s. Our next round of thunderstorms will once again occur on a Friday, when some severe weather will also be possible.
