“I’d be surprised, but I think it depends on how this whole weekend goes. But I think there’s an outside chance,” Shanahan said during a press conference on Friday when asked about the possibility of Garoppolo returning for the NFC championship game. Shanahan was even more optimistic about Garoppolo’s chances of being ready for the Super Bowl in February.
“I think there would be a better chance then,” Shanahan said about Garoppolo’s Super Bowl availability.
