Rainbow Rare Earths issues 30m new shares to raise £4.5mLondon-listed Rainbow Rare Earths has conditionally agreed to issue 30-million new ordinary shares in the company, each with no par value, at a price of 15p an ordinary share. This issuance is expected to raise gross proceeds of £4.5-million. The placing price of 15p an ordinary share represents a 3.2% discount to the closing mid-market share price of 15.5p an ordinary share on September 26.

New uranium merger announcedTSX-V-listed juniors IsoEnergy and Consolidated Uranium (CUR) on Wednesday announced a share-for-share merger to create company with an equity value of $903.5-million. IsoEnergy, a subsidiary of NexGen Energy, will acquire Consolidated Uranium for 0.500 of a common share for each CUR share hold. Upon completion of the merger, IsoEnergy shareholders will own 70.5% and CUR shareholders 29.5% of the company.
