Noah Gregor scored the Sharks’ only goal at the 3:05 mark of the first period and James Reimer finished with 25 saves
SAN JOSE – The Sharks allowed a go-ahead power-play goal to Robert Thomas early in the second period and couldn’t find the equalizer in what became a 3-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Thursday.
Noah Gregor scored the Sharks’ only goal at the 3:05 mark of the first period and Reimer finished with 25 saves, as San Jose lost for the 11th time in 12 games. Balcers had the puck on his stick near the Sharks’ blue line before he lofted it toward the Blues’ zone. Gregor skated into it and beat Blues goalie Jordan Binnington between the legs just 3:05 into the first period.
