Surveillance video showed Dukes arrive at the parking lot with another man in his Nissan Altima, and then showed that man stealing Dukes’ car after shooting him, the affidavit says. Cellphone location data showed that Davis-Jefferson’s phone was in the same area as the shooting when it occurred, the affidavit says. The data also revealed Davis-Jefferson’s phone was in the 3100 block of Beauchamp Street — where Dukes’ car was later found — about two hours after the shooting, according to the affidavit.
