San Antonio police are investigating a shooting that left one woman dead and another man injured overnight on the West Side.
According to SAPD, the victims arrived in a shot-up vehicle at the Baptist Neighborhood Hospital at Highway 151 and Westover Hills at 1 a.m. on Friday.
The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital and the man was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center for injuries not considered to be life-threatening. Police said the shooting happened somewhere on the West Side by Blue Ridge Drive and Rivas Street. Details of the incident are unknown at the time.
After the victims arrived at the hospital, a woman tried to drive off in the shot-up vehicle but officers were able to stop her, according to SAPD. That woman is not cooperating in the investigation.
