The California Highway Patrol on Friday sought the public's help to locate a 55-year-old man who was reported missing in San Jose.
Ralph Wolterbeek was last seen about 11:10 a.m. on Thursday in the area of North Jackson Street and McKee Road, near Regional Medical Center, according to the CHP, which issued a Silver Alert for Wolterbeek on behalf of the San Jose Police Department. Wolterbeek is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket and gray sweatpants with a white stripe, and he is believed to be on foot.The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
