Whimsical new Masters of the Universe fan art imagines a kinder, gentler, tea-sipping version of iconic He-Man antagonist Skeletor.
Skeletor becomes much friendlier thanks to a whimsical pun in new He-Man art. The Mattel toy line Masters of the Universe and its subsequent TV and movie adaptations not only introduced a brawny new hero in He-Man, they also brought forth a classic pop culture villain in the insult-flinging, skull-faced Skeletor.
As nice as Skeletor seems in the new image, his status as an eternal adversary might make the likes of He-Man pause before accepting his offer of some “skeletea.”
