Skyforce Claim Justin Champagnie Off Waivers - RealGM Wiretap
The Sioux Falls Skyforce have acquired Justin Champagnie, claiming him off waivers.
Champagnie, a 6-6, 210-pound forward, went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft after spending two years at Pittsburgh. He started 10 games for Raptors 905 this season as a two-way player and averaged 22.5 on 52.1 percent shooting , 10.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 blocks per 33.5 minutes a game. With Toronto, he appeared in three contests and averaged 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per 3.6 minutes a game.
With Raptors 905 last season, as a part of his two-way contract, he appeared in 14 games and averaged 21.1 points on 48.9 percent shooting , 8.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals per 36.0 minutes a game. With Toronto, he averaged 2.3 points on 46.3 percent shooting and 2.0 rebounds per 7.8 minutes in 36 appearances.
