One of Skyrim's deer got to show off their gymnastic abilities thanks to a glitch that made it flip end-over-end after getting hit by a spell.
An amusing glitch in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim allowed a deer to achieve its unrealized dreams of being a gymnast in its dying moments when it did a backflip after being struck by a spell. Skyrim is a popular fantasy role-playing game that has retained a loyal fanbase since its release in 2011.
Skyrim is the very definition of an open-world game, in which players can explore the far reaches of the continent of Tamriel, delve into dungeons and tombs in search of treasure, and fight dragons as they search for answers about the nature of the Dragonborn. However grand the storyline of the game may be though, there is no leash keeping players on their path, and the game provides countless distractions for Skryim's Dragonborn to pursue instead.
This is not the first time a slain foe in Skyrim has been sent flying. Last month a player witnessed a strange reversal of fate when they sent a Skyrim giant flying through the air with a ranged attack from stealth. Whatever the Creation Engine does to simulate physics in the game, it seems that creatures in Skyrim sometimes forget that those rules apply to them when the player is not in their line of sight.
Despite the many flaws of the Creation Engine, Skyrim is a dearly beloved game to many loyal players. The game may have issues with physics, dialogue, and general immersion but as any dedicated fan of the series can say: as long as it does not crash the game or get the player killed, it is not a bug, it is a feature. .
