“Sleep” Surpasses 1 Million Moviegoers After Topping Box Office For 12 Days In A Row
On September 18, the Korean Film Council announced that as of the day before, “Sleep” had officially reached a total of 1,031,009 moviegoers—meaning that it took just 12 days to hit the 1 million mark.
A black-comedy horror thriller, “Sleep” tells the story of a happy newlywed couple whose domestic bliss is disrupted when the husband develops a mysterious sleepwalking problem. The film premiered at Cannes Critics’ Week earlier this year.
