Strong Santa Ana winds continue to create dangerous fire conditions as officials warn of the possibility for more brush fires and power shutoffs.
After several small brush fires sparked Sunday across Los Angeles and Ventura counties, the season's first Santa Ana wind event is bringing dangerous fire conditions again Monday. High winds and low humidity across Southern California could prompt additional preventive power shutoffs, threatening at least 70,000 customers in L.A. and Ventura counties, according to Southern California Edison.
