The company also surprised fans with a Season 2 premiere episode, titled Gwimbly: Definitive Remastered Enhanced Extended Edition DX 4k .
Similar to the first season, Pim and Charlie will once again embark on a mission to put a smile on everyone’s faces. However, Season 2 shapes up to make their mission a lot harder as they attempt to make a United States president smile as well. Per the show’s synopsis, the second season of Smiling Friends will see “Pim, Charlie, Zongo, Allan, and Glep continue their mission to bring happiness to the world, whether it’s a washed-up retro video game character, a troubled marriage, or even the president of the United States.”
In addition to Cusack and Hadel, the voice cast for the Adult Swim series also includes Marc M., David Dore, Mick Lauer, Erica Lindbeck, Chris O’Neill, Hans van Harken, Rodrigo Huerta, Joshua Tomar, and Harry Partridge.
