Jeff Reitz spent 2,995 days at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., before the COVID-19 pandemic put his record to an end.“It actually started out as a joke. During the Dick Clark ball drop show, Disney ran a commercial about giving you an extra Disney day, when they announced the leap day 24-hour event for Feb. 29, 2012. And one of my friends and I were at the park on Jan. 1, and we started joking around — how could it be an extra day if you don’t use the others?” Reitz said.
