The Disney Parks Around the World vacation package sold out before the trip went on sale to the general public with the 75 available slots snapped during the presale event.
Bookings began on June 20 for Adventures by Disney regulars who travel often with the guided tour company. Only about five spots remained by June 24 when members of the exclusive Golden Oak Club in the luxury single-family residential neighborhood at Walt Disney World got their chance to book the trip, according to the. All available seats on the private jet were sold out before tickets were scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, June 28.
The Adventures by Disney trip includes stops at all 12 Disney theme parks in Anaheim, Florida, France, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo as well as a handful of international landmarks like the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower and the Egyptian pyramids. The starting price: $109,995 per person. “We’re told that demand among those residents and members far exceeded available slots, and there’s already a lengthy waitlist for guests who are interested in booking the experience,” according to the Disney Tourist Blog. “Now the question becomes whether Adventures by Disney will add dates for the Disney Parks Around The World — A Private Jet Adventure.”The luxurious jaw-dropping trip — running from July 9 to Aug. 1 in 2023 — includes visits to 31 sites and 68 meals along the way.
