Brister is the son of Walter Andrew “Bubby” Brister III, who spent seven seasons with the Steelers in the 80s and early 90s. The 21-year-old was playing college football at Louisana Tech University.
Walter Andrew Brister IV, the son of the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Bubby Brister, turned himself in to Baton Rouge authorities on Wednesday as the driver in a fatal hit-and-run, according to reports.The Advocate reported.

He told The Advocate once Brister realized what happened, he called his father, who was able to get in touch with McLindon.
