SongJiHyo files lawsuit against her former agency for unpaid income
Previously, Uzurocks became embroiled in controversy after news reports exposed the company's struggling financial state. The company had failed to pay not only its artists, such as Song Ji Hyo and, their due income, but had also failed to pay numerous employees, also failing to meet legal requirements such as health insurance.
Afterward, Song Ji Hyo quickly terminated her exclusive contract with Uzurocks on April 14. Uzurocks also admitted that it had failed to fulfill its responsibilities toward the actress, and the company's CEONow, the latest developments indicate that Song Ji Hyo will be facing Uzurocks in court. The actress filed a lawsuit against the agency on May 2, claiming that Uzurocks had agreed to pay her all of her unpaid income by May 1, but ultimately failed to meet the deadline.
