The Irish bar Francis Bogside will say goodbye to its Southtown location after its last service there July 31.will say goodbye to its Southtown location after its last service there July 31.

The bar’s moving to a new and larger location, said a spokesperson for owner Steve Mahoney. The location and reopening date have not been announced. Mahoney’s SA Bar Management portfolio also includes, Lilly’s Greenville in St. Paul Square and Tucker’s Kozy Korner east of downtown. The Irish bar Francis Bogside will say goodbye to its Southtown location after its last service there July 31.Francis Bogside opened in 2015 on South St. Mary’s Street alongside its sister restaurant Brigid. A fire sparked by an ember from the kitchen closed both of them in October 2016. Mahoney reopened Francis Bogside without Brigid on Halloween 2017.

The Irish bar Francis Bogside will say goodbye to its Southtown location after its last service there July 31. The late-night menu includes a double cheeseburger and Guinness on draft.
