SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Gia Sandhu spoke exclusively to Screen Rant in an interview held before the SAG-AFTRA strike, and she was asked her thoughts on the return of Sybok in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 1. Read her quote below: I can't say too much about that at this point. But I think the setup for that is really interesting. And I am also curious to see exactly how that ends up playing out. Because it was an interesting thing to put into that episode. And so far, we haven't seen where it goes. But it makes for an interesting story.
Will Sybok Appear In Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2? At the halfway point of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2, there has been no mention of Sybok or his romantic partner, the space pirate named Captain Angel . Angel posed as a Federation scientist and hijacked the USS Enterprise in a failed attempt to liberate Sybok in Strange New Worlds season 1, episode 7, "The Serene Squall." However, Angel escaped and could potentially return, along with Sybok.
Plenty was teased about Strange New Worlds season 2, including new cast members Commander Pelia and Lt. James T. Kirk , as well as the returns of the Klingons and the Gorn, but there has been no indication that Sybok will appear in season 2 in spite of season 1's setup. It's also not clear whether Gia Sandhu will return as T'Pring for the remainder of Strange New Worlds season 2.
