San Diego State's men's basketball team walked across campus to the student union Sunday and went bowling at Aztec Lanes, part of an event sponsored by the MESA Foundation NIL collective. It was an afternoon full of clinking pins — and symbolism. This Aztecs are about to release a ball onto the lane. Will it pick up the spare, or roll in the gutter?
