Jeremy Sochan found inspiration in Argentina’s run to the World Cup title, seeing a young team like his Spurs thriving on the world stage.HOUSTON — Rookie Jeremy Sochan figures he owes an apology to whoever was in the room next to him at the Spurs’ team hotel in downtown Houston on Sunday morning.One of the Spurs’ resident soccer aficionados, Sochan was up early to watch the World Cup final between Argentina and France.

The other was the makeup of the Argentina roster, which the 19-year-old Sochan compares to the youthful Spurs.In the end, Sochan agreed with the global consensus regarded the thrill-a-minute championship match.If Sochan white-knuckled his way through the World Cup final without a true dog in the fight, he could only imagine what an actual Argentine on the Spurs’ payroll must have been going through.
