SAN FRANCISCO – The Spurs closed out the preseason on Friday night with a 122-117 win over the Golden State Warriors. The Spurs were locked in on offense from the start, scoring 44 points in the 1st quarter. 6-foot 8-inch Jeremy Sochan was featured as the teams’ point guard, making for a tall lineup.Wembanyama once again showcased his through-the-roof potential, recording 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 blocks in three quarters.

Within the same minute, Wembanyama blocked both Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson and capitalized with a score.The Spurs open the regular season on Oct. 25 in their home opener against the Dallas Mavericks at 9:30 ET.
