The Acolyte showrunner Leslye Headland promises her upcoming Star Wars Disney+ TV show will feature Jedi action unlike anything viewers have ever seen

Leslye Headland, showrunner of upcoming Star Wars Disney+ TV show The Acolyte, promised Jedi action scenes unlike any viewers have seen before. Excitement is building for The Acolyte, an upcoming Star Wars Disney+ TV show set a century before the events of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Unlike other Star Wars stories, this will focus in on the actions of the Sith - exploring them as the underdogs of the High Republic Era.

Speaking to the Dagobah Dispatch podcast in an interview conducted before the strikes, showrunner Leslye Headland has promised more Jedi than viewers have ever seen - and action scenes that are just as thrilling. "I think I can say this pretty confidently, I don't think you're gonna see action in other shows the way that you see it used and utilized in our show," she observed excitedly.

This is because Jedi are attuned to the light side of the Force; they are at their strongest when the light side is in dominance. The stronger the dark side, the weaker Jedi become.

But the Jedi of the High Republic Era are nowhere near as limited. This means it's entirely possible The Acolyte will show canon Force powers that have never been seen before - either on big or small screen. The Acolyte truly is one of the most exciting Star Wars stories in the works right now.
