That may not sound like the most exciting prospect, but given many countries' rapidly aging infrastructure, new technologies like this could prove to be a game changer — and maybe, eventually, provide some new tools to ventures like the Boring Company.Petra's hot gas method could cut costs of burying these lines by 50 to 80 percent, according to the company.
