The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will be conducting a pavement improvement project on northbound State Route 51 at Camelback Road. The approximately $1.5 million project will improve the ride quality of the freeway beneath the Camelback Road bridge by replacing a 400-foot section of the northbound SR 51 pavement.

The project will require weekend closures Friday night through Monday morning on northbound SR 51 from I-10 to Colter Street, as well as intermittent weekday overnight lane restrictions from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. along northbound SR 51.
